Kate Victoria Tunstall (born 23 June 1975), known by her stage name KT Tunstall, is a Scottish singer-songwriter and musician. She broke into the public eye with a 2004 live solo performance of her song " Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" on Later... with Jools Holland.

Fish became widely known as the lead singer and lyricist of the neo-progressive rock band Marillion from 1981 until 1988. He released 11 UK Top 40 singles with the band, including the Top Ten singles " Kayleigh", " Lavender" and " Incommunicado", and five Top Ten albums, including a number-one with Misplaced Childhood.

In 1966, Lulu toured Poland with the Hollies, the first British female singer to appear live behind the Iron Curtain. In the same year, she recorded two German-language tracks; "Wenn du da bist" and "So fing es an" for the Decca Germany label.

Eric Bogle AM (born 23 September 1944) is a Scottish-Australian folk singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Scotland, he immigrated to Australia at the age of 25, and currently lives near Adelaide, South Australia. Bogle's songs have covered a variety of topics, and have been performed by many artists.

The Press Complaints Commission (PCC) became concerned by press reports about Boyle's erratic behaviour and speculation about her mental condition and wrote to remind editors about clause 3 (privacy) of their code of press conduct. The day after the final, Boyle was admitted to The Priory, a private psychiatric clinic in London, Talkback Thames explained, "Following Saturday night's show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained."

Amy Elizabeth Macdonald (born 25 August 1987) is a Scottish singer-songwriter, guitarist, and musician. She has sold over 12 million records worldwide. Macdonald released her debut album This Is the Life in 2007. The singles " Mr. Rock & Roll" and " This Is the Life" from it were chart hits.

Sheena Shirley Easton (née Orr; born 27 April 1959) is a Scottish singer, songwriter and actress with dual British- American nationality. Easton first came into the public eye as the focus of an episode in the first British musical reality television programme The Big Time: Pop Singer , which recorded her attempts to gain a record contract and her eventual signing with EMI Records.

Colin James Hay (29 June 1953) is a Scottish-Australian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and actor. He came to prominence as the lead vocalist of the band Men at Work, and later also as a solo artist. Hay's music has been frequently used by actor and director Zach Braff in his work, which helped a career rebirth in the mid-2000s.

Barbara Ruth Dickson (born Dunfermline, Fife, 27 September 1947) is a Scottish singer whose hits include " I Know Him So Well", " Answer Me" and " January February". Dickson has placed fifteen albums in the UK Albums Chart from 1977 to date, and had a number of hit singles, including four which reached the Top 20 in the UK Singles Chart.

John Paul Young, OAM (born 21 June 1950) is a Scottish-born Australian pop singer who had his 1978 worldwide hit with " Love Is in the Air". His career was boosted by regular appearances as a performer and guest host on national broadcaster, ABC's 1974-1987 TV series.

In 1969 Rafferty became the third member of a folk-pop group, The Humblebums, along with comedian Billy Connolly and Tam Harvey. Harvey left shortly afterwards, and Rafferty and Connolly continued as a duo, recording two more albums for Transatlantic Records.

Miller, with elder sisters Letty and Anne, was raised in Colvend Street, Bridgeton in Glasgow, by his parents, Cathy and Frank. He played football for the school team and Harmony Row Boys Club, his love of football probably inherited from his maternal grandfather Archie Kyle who was signed to Glasgow Rangers FC.

Sharleen Spiteri, born in 1967, is a Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known as the lead singer of the rock band Texas.1 She co-founded the band in 1986 and they rose to prominence in 1989 with the release of their debut album "Southside".
